The ForgottenChakras: The Feet

“…to give light to those whosit in darkness and in the shadow of death, and to guide our feet into the pathof peace”

~Luke 1:79

Along with our system of sevenmain physical Chakras, we have a web of auxiliary energy centers, or lesserchakras, that provide a wide spectrum of energy influx into our system. They are often ignored and neglected.

One of them is the system ofchakras for the feet. Located on the base, or sole, of our feet; it has as aprimordial purpose the discharge the “electrical” streams generated as anconsequence of the normal activities and functions of the physical body.

These small, but important, chakra vortexes can be found on the sole of each foot and they work in combination with the Muladhara Chakra or base chakra, along with other minor chakras in thelegs to create a stable lattice foundation for our physical existence.

Whenthey function harmonically, the Feet Chakras ensure a constant flow ofcommunication and connection with the energy grids of the Earth to the rest ofthe chakras on our physical and extra-physical bodies.

They were also designed tofacilitate the balancing and assimilation of the Kundalini energy that comesfrom Earth and its magnetic currents.

These energy points act as energytransformers; regulating the intensity and quantity of these energy flows aswell as whether or not they should and should not enter our physical energeticenvironment.

As a general rule of thumb, themore spiritually-inclined a person is, the more they will have the energeticcenters in their bodies responding to energy shifts in an easier way thansomeone who is merely concerned with their own materialistic reality.

The expansion and amplification of the energy centers is directly interrelated withthe expansion of consciousness of the individual and their discerningcapability to apprehend the understanding of the multi-dimensionality of life, planes of existence and the interconnectedness of all.

“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”

~Psalm 119:105

From a shamanic perspective, it is believedthat below the soles of our feet resides what shamans call the auric chrysalis.

From these centers, we receive the energy of Mother Earth as a tree receivesnourishment from its roots connected to the soil.  At the other physical pole of our bodies, above the crown chakra, we find the auric dome ofour energetic system.

This closed energy scheme in its turn connects andinteracts with the Earthly auric fields.

Each foot holds a vortex on thecenter of arch.

They tend to be smaller than the other normal chakras of thebody, usually varying between 5 to 7 centimeters of diameter when fully opened.

This chakra does not have a specific color, but normally they presentthemselves in tones of earth colors, such as brown, and with reddish hues, asthey are directly connected with the energy of the first Chakra.

“He lifted me out of the slimypit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm placeto stand.”

~ Psalm 40:2

As the hand chakras, the foot chakras arealso very expressive and receptive; during grounding exercises, they facilitatethe channeling of the Earth energies.

The health the feet is not only relatedto the ability to stay in the physical body, but to the capability of it.

The health of the foot chakra is directly related to our ability to not only to become grounded inside of the physical body while, at the same time, tomanifest the spiritual skill of being an anchor of Light, with the multidimensional ability to actively interact with the world at large, in realtime, while being a “point of sacrificial fire” for your Higher Self.

The capability to be anchored shows an integrated ability to harmonize your spirit and body tunefully, and itis an important skill to develop in the path of self-awareness andself-realization.

“The Feet have a vitalpsychological importance in our lives, because they represent our contact withour immediate reality, the ground, the law of gravity; physically, the lack ofbalance on the feet, affects the harmony and performance of our whole structure.”

The ForgottenChakras:

The Feet Part II

The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’tneed you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!”

~1 Corinthians 12:21

In the previous article we discussed the importance of the health of the feet chakra and their strategic importance in the daily centering and grounding activities.

We cannot stress enough their significance for those that are called to perform the healing arts: though energetic healing, spiritual counseling or any other metaphysical activity.

In terms of initiation, accordingto ancient traditions, the feet are the very last before one can graduate invarious schools of wisdom, because they are related to the 12thinitiation. Symbolically, the 12th initiation is associated to the12th sign of Pisces.

It is no surprise to notice that the feet arethe part of the physical body that relate to the last sign of the Zodiac wheel.

It is not a surprise to connect the dots and realize that the symbol of the Christian era is the Fish.

It signifies that everyone that accomplishes thetrials required by this last stage is able to stand on their own two feet as acompletely self-realized Human being.

It is said that during the last supper,Christ Jesus performed the ceremony known as the washing of the feet for hisapostles.

This is one of the more significant gestures of love and devotionfrom a master to his disciples: the last of the Christic Initiation.

The feet chakras are no commonenergy centers.  They relate not only to the energies of grounding andmanifesting of our live purposes, but they also retain the memories of the manypaths our soul has trailed on earth and beyond through our previous life times.

Description of ExternalPoints for the Feet Chakra

The foot chakra is an energyvortex that extends downward from the sole of the foot and correspondingly ismirrored and extends upward from the top of the foot.

The Right Foot:

“I will keep you in the rightpath”

Point1 Out top-outward direction: express thecollection of energies accumulated through “questionable acts to others” inthis life time.

Point 2 Out top inward direction: the reservoir orstorehouse of all questionable deeds towards others we have accrued during pastlives due to stared rages against others that stepped on us.

The right foot is also responsiblefor the ability to perform astral travels and to insure good restful sleep.

“…For you have delivered me fromdeath and my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before God in the light oflife.”

~Psalm 56:13

Energy work on the right foot can release pastsamskaras, which are holographic memories of karmic deeds already learned, andopen us to do towards others in an unconditional and unattached way. All theaccumulated energies in the right foot are the result of struggle forinfluence, power and dominance: the real concept of stepping upon others. Theaccurate meaning of this chakra is to not allow people to step on us. It shouldbe a protector chakra, but we as humans tend to overdo things and get caught upin the energy of egoic revenge.  In other words, our inherentpredisposition for taking wrong action against others for indulgence of Self. The energetic polarities of this foot are mostly male.

The Left Foot: main Chakra (description of the externalpoints)

“I will keep you on the ascensionpath, so you may absorb again failed lessons”

The left foot stores mainly afeminine type of energy; playful, nurturing and encouraging. It retains the registries of all your accomplishments and realizations, the life lessons and plethora of experiences of your soul that were learned and incorporated in yourlife theme, your energetic blueprint. It expresses the joy of accomplishmentsand the positive influence on all the lives one has touched.

This is your balance point of our personal free will choices. It is a point where activelywe can experience the karmic balance as an outcome of our past experiences inlifetimes.

“He lifted me out of the slimypit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm placeto stand.”

~Psalm 40:2

Point1. Left foot out top –outwarddirection.  Expression of the energy gathered through lifetimes livedunder the sphere of the Oversoul.

Point2. Left foot out top – inwarddirection.  Contains the essence of a joyful being that is creating one’sfuture incarnations, which are susceptible to adjustments up until they arebrought into play in the right divine time.

Point3.Left foot under the sole –outward direction. Vortex where the karma of past life times balances itself.

Point4.Left foot under the sole –inward direction. Energetic point that stores constructive memories fromlifetimes where lessons were actively learned and had a positive outcome, evenwhen the experiences where not easy.
